Hear Now Live!
forges ahead in 2010, on a pace to book more shows than any
other local promoter in New England. With over 50 shows on the
slate in the first four months, Hear Now Live! is committed to
putting together the best possible line-ups and shows in the
greater Boston area and beyond.
After an extremely successful 2009 Hear Now Live! decided that
more is better. We want to find and develop the right
combination of making fans of live and local music come away
with the best possible satisfaction they can get out of an event
and concert.
A re-assembled staff that continues to grow will relentlessly
work to develop a booking and promoting base that shapes and
defines the New England music scene. Founder Mark Kaye, a 20+
year veteran in the booking, promoting and music industry, is
uniquely positioned to help young bands have a chance and get
noticed by pairing new talent with top tier performers to
produce the highest quality live shows. As the concert industry
continues to grow and the recording industry continues to
decline, Hear Now Live! can give the opportunity a band needs to
develop their fan base by putting them with other accomplished
musicians, providing the best venues, and ensure an exciting
event for music lovers.

The clubs have to reciprocate
and the promoters have to do their job. Without that unity, it
all breaks down. Teaming up with long time promoter Lionel
Brown formerly of Onslaught Entertainment, Hear Now Live! has
assembled a strong staff of promoters that also includes Chris
Jacques, Will Lawrie, Jaime Dillon, David Ladon, Dan Africano &
Ben Bullock all of which have a successful track records in
promoting and booking quality shows.
Lionel Brown has over 10 years of experience in booking and
according to Mr. Kaye, It was a no-brainer. I have gone to
shows promoted by Lionel where there was a line down the street
and I couldnt even get in. Lionel has booked over 1000 bands
and has a good eye for new talent.
Says Lionel "Ive always admired and respected Mark Kaye's work
ethic and passion for the local music scene. Hear Now Live! has
been known for throwing some of the biggest and best events in
Boston. When Mark approached me about joining the Hear Now Live!

rewarding year for the bands, venues and fans alike!"
Hear Now Live! offers sound reinforcement by Greg Pappas and his
assembled staff of Tim Matthews, Doug Merril, John Santerelli &
Joshua Matte. Greg has 20 years of experience in sound staging
and has become a large part of the Boston club sound over the
last three years. He has several top notch sound systems in
place and is hired to do sound not only in local clubs but also
at festivals and private events.
Tom Bruton of Stubio B is the webmaster and has developed
several band websites that have booked through Hear Now Live! He
has over 200 clients and 25 years of experience in graphic
design and web design.
Poster artist and graphic designer Tim Evans is in charge of
assembling excellent local designers and to design posters for
the scene that are noteworthy, original and part of the essence
of what the Boston local music scene stands for.
Overall, it looks like 2010 will be a banner year for the up
and coming Hear Now Live!, and we look forward to seeing you at
the shows!
